For lovers of bubble tea and all things Taiwanese, Ten Ren Tea or 天仁茗茶 will be opening their first ever outlet in Singapore! This humble stall started in 1953 and has over 50 years of experience. Furthermore, the shop has expanded across the world, and currently operates over 2,000 stores.
The outlet is located at ChinaTown Point, just a few steps away from the Chinatown MRT Station. They’re opening on 28 July 2018, and if you’re one of the first 150 customers, you’ll get a special gift. Judging by the kiasu-ness of an average Singaporean, you better start queuing even before the store opens.
If you miss the special gift, fret not, as Ten Ren Tea will be having a 1 for 1 promotion on all other drinks, so grab a buddy and head down on the first two days of opening (28 July & 29 July 2018).
Apart from the usual milk tea, you can expect a similar menu to the shops in Taiwan, featuring a range of fruity and refreshing teas, as well as ice blended drinks to cope with the sweltering heat. If reception goes well, Ten Ren Tea aims to open 30 stores islandwide in Singapore.
If you’re a die-hard KOI or Gong Cha fan, maybe it’s time to switch up your palette for something different.
